New for 2006-2007 is our Hot Box!

After a thick coating of wax is applied, skis are loaded in the hot box.
|
The hot box is set to a low temperature that is just above the melting point of wax but well below any temperature that would damage a ski.
This creates optimal conditions that open the pores in the ski base and allow for maximum absorbtion.
|
Ski are checked every 1-2 hours for saturation.
Extra wax is applied if they have soaked up the existing wax.
Skis are removed once they have reached saturation or the 6 hour limit.
