Kyle Bratrud will be at Pioneer Midwest October 12th to kick off our Rossignol Launch and Oktoberfest Sale. We are super excited to sponsor Kyle with a portion of sales from the evening to help support his race season as he prepares to represent Team USA at the Olympics in South Korea.
Kyle Bratrud and Matt Liebsch will co-lead an easy roller-ski / quick technique session at Elm Creek from 4:30-5:30. Meet at the Nordic chalet. All are welcome.
Meet and greet with Kyle will be from 6pm-9pm at the shop. Snacks and beverages provided. PLUS, tons of Rossignol SWAG !!
Kyle Bratrud grew up in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. He began his ski career under Doug Boonstra at EPHS from 2008-2011 before attending Northern Michigan University. He graduated NMU with a degree in Criminal Justice in 2015. He is a 4-time NCAA All American. Bratrud was a member of the Junior World team in 2013 in the Czech Republic, a member of the U23 World Team in Kazakhstan in 2015 and in Romania in 2016. He also represented the United States at the World Championships in Falun, Sweden in 2015 and in Lahti, Finland in 2017. He was the 2015 and 2017 15k Skate U.S. National Champion and a podium finisher in the 30k Classic in 2015. Kyle lives and trains in Marquette, Michigan and volunteers as a coach for Northern Michigan University. He is also an ambassador for the American Birkebeiner. His ultimate goal is to make the 2018 US Olympic Team and compete at the highest level in South Korea.
